St. Geezy

Last weekend I took a trip with the family to celebrate the end of finals and the beginning of summer.  After failing my last final, we were off!! I rode down with the parents, my brother, and Lucy.  We met up with my sister her husband and their two kids in Mesquite. While down south, we went bowling, ate a bunch of food, went swimming, saw Phantom in Vegas, went shopping, ate some more and slept.
Here's a few pictures documenting the adventure:

In the car with my baby gurl.

Bowling with Mae.

Classic Solomon picture.  Also I kicked his ass at bowling.

Once again, I beat him.

Me and Lydia.

Cutest family ever!!

Somehow we got stuck in the 1800's. No color.

Lydia is adorable and soo happy :)
She looks just like the Gerber baby!

Catching up on some needed sleep.

Shopping with the ladies!!
Teaching Mae how to make a wish.
I had to talk her down from a real unicorn to a stuffed one.

I had a really good time spending time with my lovely family :)

Grateful

Although I am wildly inappropriate most of the time, I do have a softer side.  I love hymns; they make me feel like everything will be okay.  Normally I hate country, but I enjoyed this.  I saw this video and I was filled with gratitude and appreciation for all I have.

Now back to being inappropriate.

30/30

"A picture of someone you miss."

Ever since 2006, Rachel, Tessa, Hailey and I were tournament roomies.  We would see each other almost everyday at practice and while on tournaments we would be together during the whole trip.  Currently Rachel is going to the University of Utah, Tessa is playing soccer at St. Mary's in California and Hailey is playing soccer at Utah State.  I seriously can't wait for summer to be reunited with my roomies!!

The thirty days are over.  I can not guarantee that I will be very diligent in posting after this, but I will try.  May God bless me during my final tomorrow and may he bless you as well.

"A picture that can always make you smile."

From left to right: Sacajawea, Mother Teresa, and Mr. Plurnal.
Accidental matching outfits at practice and super kool shin guards.  Any picture with my fellow three musketeers always makes me smile!!

Easy A

With my 30 pictures coming to a close, I thought I should try creating a real post.

A few months ago the movie Easy A came out.  I had no real desire to watch it until multiple people told me that Olive, the main character, reminded them of me.  Excited that I could have a movie twin, I decided to watch it.  First mistake, watching by myself; second, expecting the main character to only resemble my positive points.  After watching, I was somewhat offended that people told me that Olive reminded them of me because she lies about having sex with people to get attention. I thought it was very funny, but I couldn't really see myself in it.

Last night I watched the movie again, this time with other human beings.  The second time was much better.  I realized that it was more of her personality that I resembled rather than the storyline of the movie. I can now watch the movie and enjoy it rather than analyse how Olive is like me.

Watch it and tell me what you think.

"A picture of something you're afraid of."

Getting old.

27/30

"A picture of you and a family member."

I have the best family ever. Whether it's playing cards, quoting SNL or fighting over which fish to buy, there is never a dull moment at the Price's.

26/30

"A picture of something that means a lot you."

People that I trust and love.

"A picture of your day."

Today I worked at my high satisfaction job.  I love helping unpleasant customers that are somehow always "right".  Every shift I am surprised at how inconsiderate and rude people can be; ah the joys of working in customer service.Tomorrow I get to do it all again, HORAY!!

24/30

"A picture of something you wish you could change."

I wish I could change the idea of self-mirror pictures.  They never look good (even if you have a nice body) and they make me nauseous.  The pictures are funny as a joke, but most of the time these people are not joking.

"A picture of something you wish you were better at"

I wish I knew how to dance.  I am very uncoordinated and I have no rhythm when it comes to dancing.

21/30

"A picture of something you wish you could forget."

I wish I could forget about studying for finals and still pass all of my classes.  Too bad this won't happen.

20/30

"A picture of somewhere you'd love to travel."

I think it would be an incredible adventure to live in a different country.  I want to be able to travel and live in many places around the world.  My first stop will be Italy; cannolis, cheese and wine, here I come!

19/30

"A picture of you when you were little"

This picture makes me look like an innocent child, but I wasn't.

Me at five: "Oh my hell there's a dog outside!"
Mother: "Tasha that is not a nice word to say."
Me: "HELL! HELL! HELL! HELL! HELL!!!"

I enjoyed stripping, burping, screaming, farting, swearing and anything else to get a rise out of the people around me. Not much has changed.

"A picture of your biggest insecurity"

I have a hunchback, and I'll probably look like Quasimodo by the time I am 30.  I also have a a really nice muffin top.  Although both of these things bug me, I am not doing anything to fix them, so they must not bother me too much.

17/30

"A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently."

I have decided to switch schools.  Ever since I made this decision, I have no longer been attending my classes that won't transfer (religion classes) and I have been so happy.  I am less stressed out and a little more pleasant to be around...I think.  I can't begin to explain the relief and excitement that I have felt knowing that I only have a little over a week left at God's chosen University.  I also have decided to take the summer off from school!!  I am going to be super lazy and just relax, I can't wait.

"A picture of someone who inspires you"

My Kimmy Gurl has been and will always be a huge inspiration to me.  We were roomies for a while, which was a blast.  We would sing each other to sleep, take hundreds of cross eyed pictures, watch SNL, and make each other laugh until it hurt.  Now she has a beautiful little gurl named Leah, who I enjoy singing our old lullabies to.  Oohh gurl ooohhhh gurl!!

Too much info? Maybe.

"A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without"

Greg and Sharon aka my parentals.
I like hanging out and spending time with them,
which may seem lame, but I don't really care.
My parents are the best, seriously.

"A picture of your favorite band"

My first CD growing up was Aaron Carter, so I have always had a very refined taste in music.  Today I still
listen to sweet A.C. but I have branched out a little bit.

I first saw the Daylights at Katy Perry's concert a couple of years ago.  Best song: Outsider

The Brobecks is a Utah band that I quite enjoy.

Currently I really enjoy Mumford and Sons.  I never considered myself a banjo fan but their stuff is incredible.  Best song: Awake My Soul

12/30

"A picture of something you love"
Rain.
I love driving alone at night in the rain....sort of creepy but true.
It provides a time to relax and think. Best alone time ever.

11/30

"A picture of something you hate"
CATS.
I hate cats.
 I am haunted by them.
When they arch their back it makes me want to vomit.
I enjoy trying to hit them with my car.
Here kitty, kitty, kitty....SMACK!!
